Grand Imperial Court: Located on Level 2 of the VIP Hotel, Grand Imperial Court is accessible by elevators from the VIP Hotel Lobby. The restaurant, featuring Cantonese cuisine and regional specialties, resembles the design of a stately European dining room with eight private dining salons and an elegant lounge, and is the perfect venue for intimate occasions.

MGM Resorts International released a list of restaurants, bars, and lounges that will remain open March 16-22, with dozens closing in response to the coronavirus pandemic. Already one employee at Wet Republic Ultra Lounge at the MGM Grand and another at the Luxor tested presumptive positive for COVID-19, and the number of cases in Nevada climbed to 20.
MGM Resorts announced plans to close more than 150 food and beverage outlets temporarily across its Las Vegas empire. A memo from MGM Resorts president and COO Bil Hornbuckle outlines the rolling closures, and tells staff he expects to “minimize the impact on our employees through furloughs and layoffs. Full-time staff will go on furlough for two weeks, while part-timers must use their paid time off.
On Tuesday, the company announced that all seven of its buffets will temporarily close on Sunday, March 15. All nightclubs and pools temporarily closed as well.
As information seems to change nearly hourly, diners should call ahead to confirm that a restaurant plans to be open.
